Katelyn at Seven Months

Seven months. Closer to a year than being born. We are officially closer to a year. Isn't that insane?! and of course her seven month post is super late as she is just a couple of days away from eight months now, but finding time to blog is really hard with her around. This little princess is becoming more and more of a menace everyday. She sure is cute though. (By the way, even though the actual post is late these pictures were actually taken on the day she turned seven months)
You want some fun Katelyn tidbits?... okay

Refuses to eat solids. It sucks. She will move her head and close her mouth and if by some miracle we get some food inside, she gags on it and spits it out. It's actually quite comical to watch. Incredibly frustrating, but funny. We don't know what to do (and no we are not going to starve her until she eats) she was doing so well for the first couple of weeks and one day she decided she didn't want solids at all anymore. At least when Spencer and I try to feed her she only gags and spits it out. She adds "scream bloody murder" when any of the grandparents try

Still refuses to sleep through the night. Yeah, I'd rather not get into it

She needs to be a part of everything
Still completely fascinated with her big brother

She has perfected the army crawl and gets where she wants really fast. Which also means getting into trouble really fast. She is really good at getting to any cord or charger (whatever she's not supposed to get really) before we can even realize where she's going
Everything goes in her mouth. EVERYTHING! Seriously it's like a joke she'll put everything in her mouth but refuses to eat food

More on that, if she doesn't have something to put in her mouth, she settles for her hands. It's gotten on the point where I am having to constantly put chapstick right under her lower lip because it's so chapped from all the saliva

Still the happiest girl in the world

So blonde! Seriously, how did I get such a blond child? She really is a doll

We're so lucky to have here, she's our little princess

PS here are some bonus pictures Tio Adam took! I just love them, they capture her so well. This is literally how she looks all the time... smiling with her hands in her mouth
