Katelyn at 4 Months

So she'll actually be five months next week. I figured it was time for her four month post. Although her pictures were taken at the appropriate time.

Hey four months is no joke! I really can't believe that it's been four months already. It feels like the first couple of months went by really slowly and the last two months have just flown by. Katelyn is growing up so fast! Everyday she has a new development. We went to the doctor for her four month check up on October 19th and here are all her stats.

HEIGHT: 24 1/2 inches 48%
WEIGHT: 11 lbs 7.5 oz 3%
HEAD SIZE: 15" 2%
SHE CAN: Bear weight, Grasp, Roll and reach, Coo, squeal and laugh, Hold a small toy, Turn toward a sound
IMMUNIZATIONS: Pentacel (DTaP, IPV), PVC, Rotavirus
PASSPORT: PASSED

So her head has grown a whole two inches! Even though her stats are not great percentage wise, she is following the curves. Like brother like sister.

For her four month pictures, she would not smile for anything... well that's not true. She smiled for one thing, her big brother. That is why she is looking at something in all of the pictures. Spencer was holding the Little Guy for her to smile while trying to not cast a shadow on her.

You want some fun facts about Katelyn? Okay...

She LOVES her big brother. Seriously, I could have never imagined how much she would love him. She will always smile, and laugh for him no matter what

She loves her toys and can finally reach for them and play. That was a source of frustration for her.

Rolls over like a pro. In truth, handles ALL movement like a pro. We need to make sure she is always buckled or she is in danger of falling off whatever she's on. She specially loves the freedom it gives her. She will roll and shimmy and scoot wherever she wants.

Did I mention she loves her big brother? She also loves her daddy (although we have to admit not as much as her big brother). On the scale of her love it goes the Little Guy, Daddy and then me; unless she's hungry... then I get moved up to first. Oh yeah...

So that's our little girl at 4 months... I can believe how fast she's growing!
